City of Edmonton, Child Friendly Edmonton & Stantec Presents
Pop Up Play
When you think about Edmonton’s downtown, do you think of it as a place for kids and families to play? Child Friendly Edmonton seeks to make the downtown core more playful through pop-ups that are focused on creative free play experiences for children and their families.
A small team of planners with the City of Edmonton, Child Friendly Edmonton and Stantec are coordinating a Pop Up Play event on Saturday, September 8th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Beaver Hills House Park.
At the event play, animators will facilitate play experiences for children of all ages that will include healthy, creative and self-directed play and physical activity opportunities. Child Friendly Edmonton aims to see children using their imaginations and the surrounding environment to facilitate their play. Parents must accompany their children and are encouraged to participate with their children. Children are free to come and go as they please from our Pop Up Play Programs.
Ages: 6 – 12 years (children under 6 must be supervised by a parent or guardian)
Date: Saturday, September 8th
